Macmillan Audio seeks an Associate Marketing Manager, Social Media and Advertising, to oversee our social media and advertising plans. This role will be responsible for the strategic direction and execution of our social media channels, oversee our influencer program, and work with stakeholders on other social media initiatives. The position will also strategize and execute all self-serve advertising campaigns as well as advise on other advertising opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a combination of creative and data driven, creating interesting content and using results to inform decisions.


What you'll do:



  • Develop and oversee strategy and direction for Macmillan Audio owned channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, and future outlets)

  • Maintain and implement social media calendar and posts

  • Oversee and maintain our direct creator/influencer relationships

  • Stay current on social media and book publishing trends

  • Develop and oversee Macmillan Audio’s advertising strategy

  • Execute all self-serve advertising campaigns and devise tests to continuously improve our results

  • Explore new outlets and stay on top of the ever changing advertising landscape

  • Optimize and analyze results, disseminating through written recaps, presentations in meetings, etc.

  • Work with sister imprints to align on advertising strategies to maximize efforts and budgets across formats


What you'll bring:



  • Experience with corporate social media management

  • Experience with Meta and other self-serve advertising outlets

  • Data analysis skills

  • Critical thinking

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Detail-oriented and superb organization skills

  • Collaboration across many different departments and interests


Ideal Experience:



  • 3+ years working in publishing

  • College degree or equivalent professional experience required


This role will have an annual salary of $60,000 - $65,000
