About This Role:

The Administrative Assistant provides front desk service and various support tasks at our Hunter Agricultural Irrigation campus in Clermont, FL.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:

  • Answers incoming telephone calls and transfers calls or relays messages to appropriate employees.
  • Greets and directs visitors to appropriate employees and issues visitor badges.
  • Sorts/distributes mail to employees and maintains postage machine and ordering supplies.
  • Supports and collaborates with Executive Administration in terms of tasks and coverage.
  • Assists with preparing and organizing signage, distributing name tags, and providing safety glasses for site tours.
  • Assists with facility tour arrangements and details.
  • Orders office supplies as needed.
  • Occasionally makes and manages travel arrangements in support of various departments.
  • Prepares and proofreads documents as requested.
  • Prepares PowerPoint presentations and updates TV content throughout campus as requested.
  • Schedules conference rooms and training rooms as needed in support of various departments.

Education/Training Required and Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required and Preferred:

  • Minimum 2 years of general office experience.
  • Experience with multi‐line telephone system.

What You Bring:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.                                    
  • Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks.                                
  • Proficiency in the use of computers required with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.             
  • Must be detail-oriented and have excellent analytical and organizational skills.                          
  • Requires ability to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities, and to work within timelines.
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other departments.      
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing organizational needs.                                 
  • Knowledge of Outlook and Word required.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel preferred.
  • Spanish fluency preferred.

The hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $15.00 to $19.88

The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
